The Cousings

The Cousings is a growing local band based in Zamboanga that promotes its original songs. They started as cousin-duo that grew to a 6-member band today. The band manager reached out to me and shared how they wanted to redefine their identity through their logo. Their old logo featured multiple visual elements; the moon, some stars, a cloud, some waves, a play button, and its wordmark. The idea with their new logo however, was different. Instead of painting a picture of the night, they wanted to convey "bagong umaga" or new day with a sunrise. Hope, new beginnings, awake, and dream-pursuit.
